Freedom Tower, New York City

I love going on adventures near and far. Since the toddler was born I have a newly found fondness for breaks around the UK (no need to hop on a plane, exchange money, etc.). I will always love city trips around Europe and I already have a long list of places I visited pre-kids that I want to head back to with Toddler in tow because I am so excited about experiencing the cities from this new perspective (think playgrounds instead of spa afternoons). And then there are the big adventures. During my maternity leave we traveled once around the world, making several stops across the US, spending a month exploring Japan and visiting friends in Singapore. Later this year we’ll be off to South Africa and next year another big US trip is on the plans.

I am trying to figure out the best way to share my experiences from these trips but haven’t really found the perfect way of doing it yet. So for now, I am trying to share a list of places, eventually adding itineraries of some of the big trips to give you an idea of how our trips progress and I’ll hopefully get around to writing up more details eventually. If any of the places on the list are of interest to you let me know and I’ll prioritise writing up the details.
