Barcelona

Barcelona has always been a favorite for weekend trips, combining architecture, culture and beach time. This time we got to visit friends and enjoy some of the activities I previously haven’t had time for.

Innsbruck (Austria) – Summer Fun

Innsbruck, my home town, is a gorgeous place to visit at any time of the year. For the summer months it offers a fun mix of sightseeing and family friendly hiking trails to make the most of the stunning alps.

Copenhagen

Copenhagen is an extremely child (and stroller) friendly city with plenty of sightseeing that is exciting for the smallest and the not so small anymore. Plus, there is an endless supply of amazing playgrounds and childrens museum!

Lake Como

Cute villages and gorgeous villas spread along the shore of the southern part of Lake Como. Bellagio, being on eof the most famous villages along the lake boasts adorable streets, a gorgeous view point and some stunning gardens.

Lago Maggiore

Exploring the Borromean Islands in Laggo Maggiore makes for a perfect day trip with toddlers in tow. Highlights include taking a small boat between the islands, chasing peacocks around the gardens on Isola Bella, and having lunch on a waterfront terrace (toys to entertain the toddlers included) on Isola Superiore dei Pescatori.

A long weekend in Stockholm

A gorgeous late summer long-weekend, exploring the city, learning about Swedish history at Skansen, and discovering many lovely parks and playgrounds.

Paris

I wouldn’t call Paris a Toddler friendly city, but I’d still highly recommend a trip there with toddler in tow, because it’s Paris and with a bit of preparation alot of fun can be had!
